Profile at a Glance: The Use of Profiling in Uganda (2011)

The results of the profiling exercise informed programmes and activities of partners involved in the process, including the establishment of a peacebuilding committee to address land dispute obstacles to durable solutions. They also supported advocacy efforts by the Uganda Human Rights Commission, and highlighted the importance of participation when engaging with communities on durable solutions.

The collaborative process helped to build relationships between humanitarian actors and local authorities of the newly established districts in northern Uganda. JIPS supported the exercise throughout.
