The results of this profiling exercise informed the development of Burundi’s National Reintegration Strategy. The collaborative process furthermore helped to foster a common understanding among stakeholders of key protection concerns related to displacement, under a technical framework. The results were also used by the thematic working group for IDPs to inform their planning and advocacy activities in the country.
