Participation is crucial in humanitarian or development intervention. In displacement situations, direct engagement of decision-makers with displaced persons has even been found to be a key driver to better understand which solutions they may prefer, and thus plan accordingly. JIPS contributed its expertise as key informant, and the profiling examples from Kosovo and Myanmar served as use cases.
