By JIPS

JIPS, the International Institute for Environment and Development and UN-Habitat pooled their experience and expertise together to answer the call for submission issued by the UN Secretary General’s High-Level Panel on Internal Displacement (the Panel). In an effort to generate recommendations for stakeholders responding and driving solutions on internal displacement, the Panel issued a public call for bold, creative and practical inputs. JIPS is proud to present actionable and forward-looking recommendations looking at IDPs’ rights to a dignified urban life which aim at transforming the way governments, donors as well as humanitarian and development actors work together.
