On the 31 August 2016, JIPS will launch the second version of the Dynamic Analysis and Reporting Tool (DART). Built to facilitate joint analysis and reporting activities, the DART promotes data sharing, transparency and consensus building in profiling processes.

Responding on the one hand to calls from the World Humanitarian Summit for data and joint analysis to become the foundation of humanitarian action, the DART creates a space for partners to explore profiling data, discuss analysis, and build reports collaboratively through a simple, user-friendly online platform.

On the other hand, the DART addresses calls from the field to improve access to data to enable evidence-based decision-making at all levels. Developed for practitioners who may not have the capacity available to sift through heavy datasets, the new DART allows users to navigate quickly and easily from the data to a report.

With the ability to invite partners to collaborate on a report, teams can now view the same data together; they can discuss preliminary findings and progress towards common interpretations of the data and ultimately formulate concrete recommendations.

Start exploring the DART’s new features and datasets. Any questions or feedback on the DART can be directed to im@jips.org.
