We support and advise for profiling exercises in displacement situations the world over, both on-site and remotely. We specialise in protracted displacement situations and urban settings, but our approach can be adapted to a range of scenarios. We tailor our support to identified data needs on the ground and work first and foremost to build our partners’ capacity. We aim to be a facilitator in collaborative and locally-owned profiling exercises, providing technical support and helping to establish consensus.

We receive support requests any time of the year, and review them together with our Executive Committee specifically twice a year, in May and November.
We conduct and facilitate trainings tailored to specific profiling exercises. We help to identify training needs and develop strategies, and can design, facilitate or run workshops and courses.
Trainings can also be orientated thematically, focusing for example on the value of joint analysis or how to conduct a durable solutions analysis through profiling. Get in touch at info@jips.org to find out more or request our support for your exercise.
